Leaves after you're off work at 4. I'll be right there waiting when you walk out.
For RJ, from Andrew
Come spend the weekend with me in Chicago.
Until I find out if I get my favorite visitor.
Decide by Saturday, October 17 at 8 AM New York time (7 AM in Chicago).
Say yes and I'll book these two nonstops on United.
Leaves after you're off work at 4. I'll be right there waiting when you walk out.
An early one, but you get the whole weekend and still make it to work by 11.
Both flights are on me. You pay $0.
Home base is the Palmer House in the Loop, the grand old hotel where the brownie was invented. The Bean is a short walk away.
You land at O'Hare. I'm the one grinning at arrivals.
Dinner at Boonie's, Michelin-loved Filipino, straight from the airport. Crispy sisig, and turon for dessert. It's BYOB.
Jason Ross at Concord Music Hall, 10 minutes from dinner. Big melodic EDM for my Zedd girl, and me dancing badly next to you on purpose. Very wabi-sabi.
Back to the Palmer House.
Breakfast together first. Then I'm at my trade show at McCormick Place from 9 to 5, so the city is yours, and it's all on me.
Breakfast together at Beatrix in River North, 10 minutes from the hotel. Then I'm off to my show.
Kasama. The first Michelin-starred Filipino restaurant runs a bakery by day. Grab an ube cruffin before they sell out.
A matcha latte at Match | A, a few blocks from Kasama and the top-rated matcha bar in Chicago. For the most matchaful girl I know.
The Bean, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute, all a short walk from the hotel. Gallery girl heaven.
Chinatown, a mile from my show. Bakeries, fruit markets, and Ping Tom Park on the river.
I'm all yours. Chicago has beaches too. We walk the lakefront from McCormick Place and watch the sun go down behind the skyline at 6:06.
Dinner on the rooftop at Aba in Fulton Market. Four kinds of hummus and Mediterranean cocktails, then back to the hotel for an early night.
Car from the Palmer House to O'Hare. I know. I'll make it worth it.
Back at LaGuardia, with time to spare before work at 11.
